Moving to github
I've asked many times to Sole about the benefits of using git and every time I thought it wasn't worth the learning time. I was happy with svn, but for Harmony I thought about giving github a try as Google Code didn't seem to make collaborations and forking too easy, plus github worked better with the way I was using it (different projects in the same place).

I guess Google Code works well for big projects, but in my case I do small projects/snippets, and creating a new repository/page for each one was a bit annoying as they also check if a project with the same name exist on sourceforge, and if it does you need to email the owner for permission first (although my project wouldn't be hosted on sourceforge but on Google Code).

Anyway, here it's the link for my github page:

So far I'm liking it, and I've started moving my projects there. First one to move was stats.js, but expect the stats.as, videoplayer and so on to be moved soon. I've found github a bit hard at the beginning (ssh, keys and so on) but once that part is done is quite simple. Oh, and it's great to see the .svn folders go away!

Been wanting to put all of my project on Google SVN, but now I'm thinking github is the route to go. The next release of the Draw(er) Android app I'm working on will be open-source. Thanks for your input :)
A great way to start ... "hginit dot com"

I feel strange writing in english with someone who also speaks spanish
I think git wasn't too attractive for you because externals with git are way too complicated. And because you can't checkout a single folder from a bigger project as you can do with SVN. At least, currently, as far as I know.
Iker: Mercurial? Ahora que habia optado por Git... ? No se, no se... ;)

Sole: Yeah, but in the end I don't really use that SVN feature that much anyway... :P
Good place to keep/publish snippets is http://snipplr.com/
Hi Mr. Doob,
a colleague developer recommended your videoplayer, but the code seemed to have disappeared from Google. Is your player code still public available?
Thanks in advance.
I'm afraid it's not. I was suggesting to use this one instead:

But seems like they haven't released it yet, and they are very well taking a long time. I may end up recoding mine and putting it up again...

Have your say!
