I find this quite stupid. The beauty of blogs for me is the communication that it creates. Then the rest share their own point of view, and there is a bit of discussion. It also helps for asking questions to 'the internet' and with that someone arrives to your blog and answers your question.

But thanks to those guys using zombie computers to send crap to blogs creates a problem. And doesn't matter if you use Akismet or any other service like this one, if they send you 500 comments per day, some of them will go in.

So, as I'm getting rid of some responsibilities these days, here is another one. No more comments allowed in the site, I just don't have the time and the patience of having to clean the DB.

I won't hide the comments tho, just the form.
