No, I don't follow the football... and I hate TV.
5 comments written so far...Just for the fact that I'm Spaniard and from Barcelona, the people use to think that I love football. Well, when I was a kid I did, probably because my mind was so simple and I didn't have anything else to think about.
Right now, I don't have time to follow it, and well I just don't see the point. It's a show, yeah, but repetitive. And, I'm sorry, I can't be happy if someone elses win. I'm happy if I win something, if someone I care about win something. But people that earns 20 times what I do, winning? Why should I feel excited? I should feel depressed instead... It really depresses me when I see thousands of people going to the street to celebrate that 11 guys won something. What a waste of time.
However I can understand that the people likes it, everybody likes to shout and throw all that energy in someway, and if you scream with some other people in front of a TV watching a football match nobody is going to think weird things about you, or is going to call the police. But again.. that's not for me..
And there is probably a lot of people like me nowadays, I call it the "interactive" generation. Hehe... That kind of people that are moving from the TV to internet, where atleast you can chose what you want to see instead of opening a direct channel to your brain to anything that the TV wants to infect you with.
The funny thing was that at home, when I was watching the TV with the family, they were always changing the channel whenever the ADs where starting. And ADs are the most interesting thing of TV imho, 10/15 seconds of concentrated ideas/motions trying to catch the people. In fact, that's the only thing I miss now that I don't have TV.
Uhm....

Dejad que los pobrecitos sigan sus pobres ilusiones... no son mas que peones que no son conscientes de lo que les rodea...
Well... ads are cool if you just watch them once - when you go to the cinema. If you have to watch them once and once again each 30 minutes or less, they get annoying and you end thinking they are a piece of crap (even though they may be superb!).
Only 20 times?8)
