A sofa finally fitted in \o/
11 comments written so far...It was easier than expected. The last saturday I was feeling very unproductive, I had too many things to do and I just didn't want to do any of them. So we decided to go to IKEA instead of just staying at home.
Looks like IKEA is the same everywhere, lost in an almost out-of-the-town neighbourhood where you will wish having a car for atleast 45min. So we went to Neasden with the tube and then we tried to follow the map (that's the same everywhere too, looks like Sweedish people aren't too good doing maps ;)). So we were there following (in the other way) the people that had IKEA bags, and then we saw some signals like IKEA and an arrow. That was like a game. Even a foreigner joined us because she was lost (she was in fact scared).
Anyway, we arrived, we did all the tour inside the shop, we seen some sofas (which we already seen in the website), and the good part was when we realized that attached to IKEA they had a dodgy cab company which can deliver your big items in 1hour to anywhere in Greater London. That was cool because we didn't have too many options for that. So then we decided to buy that red leather sofa we seen (and also checked the sizes this time). And then went back to home, as soon as we arrived to Victoria the guy in the cab was already calling me (he had a terrible accent) and was telling me that he was already waiting out of the flat.
How cool! in less than 1hour we bought the sofa (and extra things) and we had them inside the flat already. Now I understand why IKEA is working that well.
So as a gift, here you have ;) The flat is almost done now, we just need some small bits now.

And as I'm feeling generous this morning (4:09am) ... here is another glowy picture of the kitchen (with all the plastics and wrapping of the sofa).

The flat looks very nice, quite different from you previous one.
And the first pic is taken of Chris, not of the sofa, you have to admit it ;)

i was also interested in a sofa and maybe a tv stand or something but walking around in the ikea i was just too overwhelmed. too much stuff and too many people. so i decided to continue to do without furniture. :)
