PSP scene

Ok, for all those people that didn't get it on my last post I bought a PSP as soon as was released on UK. First impressions.. nice, took me some hours to realize that it had wifi (i didn't know :D) and then browse some websites. I had to upgrade the firmware to 2.0, though I know that doing that I wouldn't be able to test all those homebrew stuff the people were doing (dosbox, uae, mame, blablabla..) but.. well.. I'm sure that somebody will crack the firmware 2.0 soon (or atleast a downgrader).

So now I'll save some of your time, If you got a PSP and you want to be up to date of the latest hacks and software the scene is doing, add the RSS of pspupdates.com to your reader (a lot of news per hour). Also, for some extra information and forums check out pspcomplete.com. Regarding the future of the console hacks and cracks.. looks like MemorySticks of 10gb will be on the streets quite soon. So, if you think a little bit, as soon as they hack the handheld and you can just download from internet/emule the games (the UMD can store up to 1.8gb), copy them to the memorystick, and play. Sounds easy.

Some alpha version of a sintethizer was already released, also a total commander like app. And as last bit, here is a screenshot of a OS in development.
